Intraoperative Bradycardia: Evaluating Vasovagal Events in Adult Suspension Microlaryngeal Surgery
This retrospective single‐surgeon cohort study of 190 adults undergoing suspension microlaryngoscopy found that 8.9% (17/190) developed significant intraoperative bradycardia consistent with a vasovagal response (VVR). No demographic, comorbidity, or procedural factors were significantly associated with VVR, though most affected patients required ...

Optical neuromodulation with IR light allows stimulation of the PNS without the need for physical contact with the target nerve or without requiring any genetic modification. The clinical translation of this technique will pave the way to the development of neural interfaces for restoring sensory feedback in individuals with limb amputation.

Effect of GLP‐1 receptor agonist on nutrient intake: A narrative review
Abstract Humans have a primitive defense mechanism called metabolic adaptation that slows voluntary weight loss. It works by downregulating hormones that reduce food intake and by lowering the metabolic rate. Second‐generation GLP‐1 receptor agonists, such as semaglutide or tirzepatide, promote weight loss by targeting this hormonal system to control ...
