FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Venom peptides have shown promise in treating pain. Our study uses computer screening to identify a peptide that targets a sodium channel (NaV1.7) linked to chronic pain. We produced the peptide in the laboratory and refined its design, advancing the search for innovative pain therapies.

Quasi-valuations - topology and the weak approximation theorem [PDF]
arXiv, 2013 Suppose $F$ is a field with a nontrivial valuation $v$ and valuation ring $O_{v}$, $E$ is a finite field extension and $w$ is a quasi-valuation on $E$ extending $v$. We study the topology induced by $w$. We prove that the quasi-valuation ring determines the topology, independent of the choice of its quasi-valuation.
