Students using three types of spreadsheet calculators for understanding expected value were observed remotely. This remote observation involves the use of webcams and application sharing for observing students learning mathematics.

This study optimized a cell‐based ELISA for HIT antibody detection using PF4‐coated breast cancer cells (MDA‐MB‐231). Enhanced binding was observed at 50 mM NaCl and 4% paraformaldehyde fixation. Live MDA‐MB‐231 and HCT‐116 cells demontrated superior sensitivity and specificity, providing a promising platelet‐free alternative for clinical HIT diagnosis.
