Sparse representation-based SAR imaging [PDF]
There is increasing interest in using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images in automated target recognition and decision-making tasks. The success of such tasks depends on how well the reconstructed SAR images exhibit certain features of the underlying ...

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Two approaches to the holomorphic modular bootstrap
The holomorphic bootstrap attempts to classify rational conformal field theories. The straight ahead approach is hard to implement when the number of characters become large.

In many scientific applications, measured time series are corrupted by noise or distortions. Traditional denoising techniques often fail to recover the signal of interest, particularly when the signal-to-noise ratio is low.

Complex-Valued Ordinary Differential Equation Modeling for Time Series Identification
Time series identification is one of the key approaches to dealing with time series data and discovering the change rules. Therefore, time series forecasting can be treated as one of the most challenging issues in this field.

On value groups and residue fields of some valued function fields [PDF]
Let K = K0(x, y) be a function field of transcendence degree one over a field K0 with x, y satisfying y2 = F(x), F(x) being any polynomial over K0. Let υ0 be a valuation of K0 having a residue field k0 and υ be a prolongation of υ to K with residue field k.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

AbstractIn [12]. T. Scanlon proved a quantifier elimination result for valued D-fields in a three-sorted language by using angular component functions. Here we prove an analogous theorem in a different language which was introduced by F. Delon in her thesis.

Integral-valued rational functions on valued fields
The paper contains extracts from the second author's thesis written under the supervision of the first author. Let \(K\) be a field, \(v\) a non- trivial valuation ring of \(K\), \({\mathfrak m}\) the maximal ideal of \(v\), \((\widehat{K,v})\) the completion of the valued field \((K,v)\) as a uniform space, \(n\) a natural number.
