Non-Archimedean Green’s functions and Zariski decompositions

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
We study the non-Archimedean Monge–Ampère equation on a smooth projective variety over a discretely or trivially valued field. First, we give an example of a Green’s function, associated to a divisorial valuation, which is not $\mathbb{Q}$-PL (i.e. not a

SU(2/1) superchiral self-duality: a new quantum, algebraic and geometric paradigm to describe the electroweak interactions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We propose an extension of the Yang-Mills paradigm from Lie algebras to internal chiral superalgebras. We replace the Lie algebra-valued connection one-form A, by a superalgebra-valued polyform A ˜ $$ \tilde{A} $$ mixing exterior-forms of all degrees and

Covariant-differential formulation of Lagrangian field theory

open access: yes, 2018
Building on the Utiyama principle we formulate an approach to Lagrangian field theory in which exterior covariant differentials of vector-valued forms replace partial derivatives, in the sense that they take up the role played by the latter in the usual ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Post-quantum Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for interval-valued convex functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2021
In this research, we introduce the notions of ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -derivative and integral for interval-valued functions and discuss their fundamental properties.

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Basis Existence of Internal n-Graph Space

open access: yesCauchy: Jurnal Matematika Murni dan Aplikasi, 2020
Graph of real valued continuous function with special addition and multiplication has already proven that is isomorphic to real number system. Furthermore, the graph of continous real valued function forms a field.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Connectivity of tropicalizations

open access: yes, 2012
We show that the tropicalization of an irreducible variety over a complete or algebraically closed valued field is connected through codimension 1, giving an affirmative answer in all characteristics to a question posed by Einsiedler, Lind, and Thomas in

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
