Au4V – Moment Stability and Spin Fluctuations in the Ordered Phase
Although neither gold nor vanadium generally possess a magnetic moment, the intermetallic compound Au4V is found to be ferromagnetic below 42K. In this paper we report the results of a muon spin relaxation study of the itinerant electron moment ...

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

Vanadium-Catalyzed Cross Metathesis: Limitations and Implications for Future Catalyst Design
Self-metathesis of terminal olefins using vanadium(V) alkylidenes is presented. Under various reaction conditions, incomplete conversion is observed due to decomposition of the metallocyclobutane intermediate via β-hydride elimination.
