Electronic structure and magnetic properties of diluted magnetic semiconductors Pb1-XVXTe
The galvanomagnetic effects, the temperature and magnetic field dependences of mag- netization and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in the Pb1-xVxTe (x ≤ 0.02) alloys under variation of the alloy composition have been investigated. Low temperature

Evolution of ion emission yield of alloys with the nature of the solute. 2: Interpretation [PDF]
Solid solutions of transition elements in copper, nickel, cobalt, iron, and aluminum matrices were analyzed by observing secondary ion emissions under bombardment with 6.2-keV argon ions. Enchancement of the production of solute-element ions was observed.

High-Kinetic Inductance Additive Manufactured Superconducting Microwave Cavity
Investigations into the microwave surface impedance of superconducting resonators have led to the development of single photon counters that rely on kinetic inductance for their operation. While concurrent progress in additive manufacturing, `3D printing'

Temperature effects on material characteristics [PDF]
Some of the physical properties of the main elements of interest in high temperature technology are reviewed. Some general trends emerge when these properties are viewed as a function of melting point, but there are a few notable exceptions. Titanium,

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

Fatigue of vanadium--hydrogen alloys
Hydrogen contents near and above the room temperature solubility limit increase the high cycle fatigue life but decrease low cycle life of polycrystalline vanadium. Changes in endurance limit with hydrides may be a consequence of decreased cyclic strain hardening coefficient, n'.
