Two‐ and Three‐Spin Hybrid Inorganic‐Organic [2]Rotaxanes Containing Metallated Salen Groups
Heterometallic paramagnetic rotaxanes substituted with additional spins are reported. These additional spins are coordinated to salen ligands and the structure is confirmed in solution by pulsed EPR spectroscopy‐ Abstract Mono‐ and bis‐salen functionalised [2]rotaxanes have been synthesised from the esterification of [2]rotaxanes containing phenol ...

This review discusses electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopic methods for characterization of transition metal complexes. EPR spectroscopy provides valuable insights into the geometric, electronic, and magnetic properties of paramagnetic molecules, reinforcing the blind spot of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy‐based structural ...

Metalloporphyrins as Building Blocks for Quantum Information Science
Porphyrins represent ideal building blocks for quantum information science. Their ability to accommodate metal ions makes them an excellent platform for quantum bits. Their distinctive molecular structure enables the formation of quantum logic gates and higher‐dimensional systems.

Electronic and Magnetic Properties of a Monolayer of VOTPP Molecules Sublimated on Ag(100)
Vanadyl tetraphenyl porphyrin molecules (VOTPP) exhibit weak interaction with the Ag(100) surface, displaying only subtle screening effects in the monolayer. The preservation of electronic and spin properties holds promise for quantum applications.

We report the synthesis of new vanadyl porphyrins bearing peripheral coordination sites. By using palladium(II) or platinum(II) as connecting ions, porphyrin dimers were isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography. These paramagnetic species were

ENDOR study of nitrogen hyperfine and quadrupole tensors in vanadyl porphyrins of heavy crude oil
© Kazan Federal University (KFU).We report the observation of pulsed electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) spectrum caused by interactions of the nitrogen nuclei14N with the unpaired electron of the paramagnetic vanadyl complexes VO2+ of vanadyl ...

In the present work, the first data on the catalytic activity of d-metal complexes of petroleum porphyrins obtained via two-stage re-metallization (acid demetallization with subsequent metalation) of high-purity petroleum vanadyl porphyrins are presented.

Electron spin resonance of some vanadyl, copper and cobalt porphyrins
Electron Spin Resonance study was carried out on a series of metalloporphyrins (where metal = VO²⁺, ⁶³Cu²⁺ , and CO²⁺, porphyrin = (4-pyridyl)porphin, (p-carboxylphenyl)porphin, tetrabenzporphyrin, and octamethyltetrabenzporphyrin), magnetically diluted ...
