Eerie Landscape Materialities. On Vanishing Land by Mark Fisher and Justin Barton
The article offers a description and analysis of Justin Barton and Mark Fisher’s audio essay On Vanishing Land. It discusses the theoretical and conceptual framework proposed by Fisher in his The Weird and the Eerie (2016) and looks at their collective ...

Unravelling the Secret of Sulfur Confinement and High Sulfur Utilization in Hybrid Sulfur‐Carbons
Thermal condensation of inverse vulcanized sulfur‐carbon hybrids enables a bottom‐up sulfur confinement strategy, in which a protective carbon phase is progressively constructed around sulfur species. The resulting carbon nanodomains covalently tether sulfur chains and stabilize radical intermediates. This integrated architecture effectively suppresses

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...

Schrödinger equation with potential function vanishing exponentially fast [PDF]
Explicitly oscillating solutions of differential equation \[ y''+\left(\lambda+20\,{\rm sech}^{2}x\right)y=0\] and its eigenpairs are obtained by calculating complex residues. Eigenpairs, spectral function and eigenfunction expansions are also reported for this specific Pöschl–Teller differential equation.

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Equation with positive coefficient in the quasilinear term and vanishing potential
In this paper we study the existence of nontrivial classical solution for the quasilinear Schr\"odinger equation: $$ - \Delta u +V(x)u+\frac{\kappa}{2}\Delta (u^{2})u= f(u), $$% in $\mathbb{R}^N$, where $N\geq 3$, $f$ has subcritical growth and $V$ is a nonnegative potential.

Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Comment about the vanishing of the vacuum energy in the Wess-Zumino model [PDF]
We check the cancellation of the vacuum energy in the Wess-Zumino model at the two-loop order in the component field formalisms with and without auxiliary fields. We show that in both cases the vacuum energy is equal to zero.
