Variable Exponent Lebesgue Spaces

2011
In this chapter we define Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents, \(L^{p(.)}\). They differ from classical \(L^p\) spaces in that the exponent p is not constant but a function from Ω to \([1,\infty]\). The spaces \(L^{p(.)}\) fit into the framework of Musielak–Orlicz spaces and are therefore also semimodular spaces.

Singular Integrals in Weighted Lebesgue Spaces with Variable Exponent

Georgian Mathematical Journal, 2003
Abstract In the weighted Lebesgue space with variable exponent the boundedness of the Calderón–Zygmund operator is established. The variable exponent 𝑝(𝑥) is assumed to satisfy the logarithmic Dini condition and the exponent β of the power weight ρ(𝑥) = |𝑥 – 𝑥0| β is related only to the value 𝑝(𝑥0).

BASICITY OF A PERTURBED SYSTEM OF EXPONENTS IN LEBESGUE SPACES WITH A VARIABLE SUMMABILITY EXPONENT

Baku Mathematical Journal, 2022
In this paper a system of exponents 1 is considered, where is some polynomial of degree m, m ∈ N. It is proved that under certain conditions on the exponent p (·) the basicity of this system in a Lebesgue space with a variable summability exponent Lp(·) (−π, π) depends on the coefficient αm−1 and m.

Approximation of the functions in weighted Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent

Complex Variables and Elliptic Equations, 2017
In the present work, we investigate the approximation problems of the functions by Fejer, and Zygmund means of Fourier trigonometric series in weighted Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents and o...
