Potential Operators in Variable Exponent Lebesgue Spaces: Two-Weight Estimates
Two-weighted norm estimates with general weights for Hardy-type transforms and potentials in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces defined on quasimetric measure spaces are established.

We define the new central Morrey space with variable exponent and investigate its relation to the Morrey-Herz spaces with variable exponent. As applications, we obtain the boundedness of the homogeneous fractional integral operator TΩ,σ and its ...

The concentration-compactness principle for variable exponent spaces and applications [PDF]
In this paper we extend the well-known concentration -- compactness principle of P.L. Lions to the variable exponent case.

Decompositions of Nakano norms by ODE techniques
We study decompositions of Nakano type varying exponent Lebesgue norms and spaces. These function spaces are represented here in a natural way as tractable varying $\ell^p$ sums of projection bands. The main results involve embedding the varying Lebesgue

Embeddings between grand, small and variable Lebesgue spaces
We give conditions on the exponent function $p(\cdot)$ that imply the existence of embeddings between grand, small and variable Lebesgue spaces. We construct examples to show that our results are close to optimal.

On approximation properties of functions by means of Fourier and Faber series in weighted Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent [PDF]
In this paper the approximation of functions by linear means of Fourier series in weighted variable exponent Lebesgue spaces was studied. This result was applied to the approximation of the functions by linear means of Faber series in Smirnov classes ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Embeddings of anisotropic Sobolev spaces into spaces of anisotropic Hölder-continuous functions
We introduce a novel framework for embedding anisotropic variable exponent Sobolev spaces into spaces of anisotropic variable exponent Hölder-continuous functions within rectangular domains.
