On solutions of anisotropic elliptic equations with variable exponent and measure data [PDF]
The Dirichlet problem in arbitrary domains for a wide class of anisotropic elliptic equations of the second order with variable exponent nonlinearities and the right-hand side as a measure is considered. The existence of an entropy solution in anisotropic Sobolev spaces with variable exponents is established. It is proved that the obtained entropy ...

Wavelet characterization of local Muckenhoupt weighted Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent [PDF]
Our aim in this paper is to characterize local Muckenhoupt weighted Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent by compactly supported smooth wavelets. We also investigate necessary and sufficient conditions for the corresponding modular inequalities to hold.

Elasticity of Diametrically Compressed Microfabricated Woodpile Lattices
Modulus–porosity relationship is derived for woodpile lattices with struts under diametrical compression. The formula presented here that Young's modulus is proportional to the square of the volume fraction E˜ρ2$E \sim \left(\rho\right)^{2}$ is shown to be consistent with computations and laboratory experiments on 3D‐printed samples.

A metallic implant's higher stiffness compared to the surrounding bone leads to stress shielding problems, causing bone density reduction and bone growth interference in pediatric patients. 3D‐printed triply periodic minimal surface structures present a promising engineering solution.

Two methods addressing variable-exponent fractional initial and boundary value problems and Abel integral equation [PDF]
Variable-exponent fractional models attract increasing attentions in various applications, while the rigorous analysis is far from well developed. This work provides general tools to address these models. Specifically, we first develop a convolution method to study the well-posedness, regularity, an inverse problem and numerical approximation for the ...

This article introduces an automated approach for converting the raw research data (use case of low‐cycle‐fatigue testing dataset) to machine‐readable resource description framework ones and storing them in an open digital repository. As two main prerequisites for this data digitalization process, the development of fatigue testing ontology and ckan ...

Anisotropic problems with variable exponents and constant Dirichlet conditions
We study a general class of anisotropic problems involving $\vec p(\cdot)$-Laplace type operators. We search for weak solutions that are constant on the boundary by introducing a new subspace of the anisotropic Sobolev space with variable exponent ...
