Automatic speed controller of a DC motor using Arduino and Variable Frequency Drive techniques [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The programmed speed control of a DC engine is basic in numerous mechanical applications, where exact control of engine speed is required. In this paper, we propose a arrangement for programmed speed control of a DC engine utilizing an Arduino ...

Fault signal propagation through the PMSM motor drive systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper describes how a mechanical disturbance on the shaft of a variable speed permanent magnet motor (PMSM) is propagated to the supply input side of the drive system, and therefore may be detected by monitoring specific frequency components in the ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

To develop an efficient variable speed compressor motor system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This research presents a proposed new method of improving the energy efficiency of a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) for induction motors. The principles of VSD are reviewed with emphasis on the efficiency and power losses associated with the operation of the

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Implementing SVPWM Technique to an Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drive with Internal Model Current Controller [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper presents a study of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor (AFPMSM) drive system. An internal model control (IMC) strategy is introduced to control the AFPMSM drive through currents, leading to an extension of PI control with ...

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.

Control design variable speed drive three-phase induction motor based cascaded H-Bridge seven level

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
The design variable speed drive induction motor is based on the power supply system of cascaded H-bridge seven level inverter. The variable speed regulation of the induction motor is performed by controlling the variable magnitude and output voltage ...
