Is Market a Hero or Villain? A Narrative Policy Framework Analysis of China's Patient‐Centred Healthcare Policy

open access: yesReview of Policy Research, Volume 43, Issue 2, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This study applies the Narrative Policy Framework (NPF) within a non‐democratic context, exploring the role of policy narratives in the implementation of patient‐centred healthcare policy in China. Drawing on a dataset of academic journal articles that reference both “market” and “patient‐centredness,” the research reveals how local ...

Probabilistic Identification of Parameters in Dynamic Fracture Propagation

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose a novel multiphase approach for identifying input parameters in dynamic fracture propagation. Often, such parameters are partially known and uncertain with incomplete input data, resulting in challenges in predicting a reliable dynamic failure response.

An Abrupt Decrease in Electron Temperature Inside the Ionospheric Density Holes During the Launches of Carrier Rockets

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract Previous observations have demonstrated that rocket exhaust can trigger ionospheric electron density holes and cause electron temperature enhancements during launches. Using high‐precision measurements from the Sanya incoherent scatter radar, we discovered a previously overlooked decrease in electron temperature.

Radiosonde‐to‐Space (R2S) Atmospheric Specifications: Bridging Observations and Models for Infrasound Propagation

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract Infrasound propagation is inherently asymmetric and time‐dependent, making accurate atmospheric specifications essential for predicting when and where signals arrive. The Naval Research Laboratory's Ground‐to‐Space (G2S) model is widely used for this purpose, yet discrepancies between G2S predictions and observations highlight the need for ...
