Variable Star T Cassiopeiæ [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1892
FROM long-continued observations of the above star, irregularities in the ascending light curve may be expected about October or November next. I shall be happy to supply a diagram of the field to any one interested in the question.

The Identification of RR Lyrae and Delta Scuti Stars from Variable GALEX Ultraviolet Sources [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We identify the RR Lyrae and delta Scuti (DSCT) stars in three catalogs of GALEX variable sources. The NUV amplitude of RR Lyrae stars is about twice that in V-band, so we find a larger percentage of low amplitude variables than catalogs such as Abbas et al (2014).

The slowly variable star FY Lacertae

open access: yes, 2017
Photometric observations and analysis of FY Lac were performed in order to determine the variability characteristics, using measurements taken at Loiano site of Bologna Astronomical Observatory and AAVSO data.

Variable binaries and variables in binaries in the Binary Star Database BDB [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The BDB, Binary star DataBase http://bdb.inasan.ru combines data of the catalogues of binary and multiple stars of all observational types. There is a number of ways for variable stars to form or to be a part of binary or multiple systems. We describe how such stars are represented in the database.

PERIOD ANALYSIS AND MODE IDENTIFICATIONS OF RRab LYRAE STAR X ARIETIS

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2007
On the base of Preston and Paczynski’s (1964) simultaneous photoelectric (U, B, V) and spectroscopic observ ations (358 U-B and 61 Radial Velocities from Lick Single-T rail Spectrograms) has been carried out the analysis of periods of RRab Lyr star X ...

Statistical Studies of Long - Period Variable Stars in Odessa [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
The studies of pulsating variable stars are traditional subjects of astronomers in Odessa. In the last half of the 20th century, the studies of the physical variable stars were the topics of 15 PhD theses of the collaborators of the Odessa State (now National) University.

Variable Stars in M31 Stellar Clusters from the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Variable stars in stellar clusters can offer key constraints on stellar evolution and pulsation models, utilizing estimates of host cluster properties to constrain stellar physical parameters.

NSV 05513 = 69 (Δ) UMA A LONG PERIODIC ECLIPSING VARIABLE?

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2017
The star NSV 05513 is suggested to be an eclipsing variable with a period of 1030m - 1180m(1115m) and a range 3.m3-4.m3 V.
