Risk Prediction Models for Recurrence After Curative Treatment of Early‐Stage or Locally Advanced Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

A variable step size LMS algorithm

IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1992
A least-mean-square (LMS) adaptive filter with a variable step size is introduced. The step size increases or decreases as the mean-square error increases or decreases, allowing the adaptive filter to track changes in the system as well as produce a small steady state error. The convergence and steady-state behavior of the algorithm are analyzed.
