Impact of variable thermal conductivity on flow of trihybrid nanofluid over a stretching surface
Nanotechnology, 2023The present article describes the impact of variable thermal conductivity on the flow of ternary hybrid nanofluid with cylindrical shape nanoparticles over a stretching surface. Three nanoparticles combine in base fluid polymer.

Thermal explosions with variable thermal conductivity
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1982Numerical solutions are presented for the case of a thermal explosion in a sphere, in which the thermal conductivity varies linearly with temperature. The behaviour of the critical temperature profiles and of the other critical parameters for variations in the thermal conductivity are demonstrated.

Thermal Distributions in Spherical Regions with Variable Thermal Conductivity
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 1986A method for predicting relative temperature distributions in acoustically homogeneous regions heated by acoustic sources is pre- sented. A generalized approach is presented in which thermal distor- tions, produced by variable conduction andlor perfusion cooling, are approximated as an effective conductivity term in a heat-diffusion equation ...

Variable Conductance Heat Pipes for Variable Thermal Links
42nd International Conference on Environmental Systems, 2012Variable Conductance Heat Pipes (VCHPs) for spacecraft thermal control typically have a cold-biased reservoir for the Non-Condensable Gas (NCG) at the end of the condenser. During operation, electrical heat is supplied to the reservoir to provide ±1-2°C temperature control over widely varying powers and sink temperatures. A second application for VCHPs
