On the relationship between variable Wiener index and variable Szeged index [PDF]
We resolve two conjectures of Hriňáková, Knor and Škrekovski (2019) concerning the relationship between the variable Wiener index and variable Szeged index for a connected, non-complete graph, one of which would imply the other. The strong conjecture is that for any such graph there is a critical exponent in $(0,1]$, below which the variable Wiener ...

On variable Wiener index [PDF]
A variable Wiener index W-nu, applicable only to acyclic structures, is defined as Sigma [n(1)(e) n(2)(e)](lambda). For the optimal exponent, that value of lambda should be selected which gives the smallest standard error of estimate, s, in the structure-property-modeling. As a test case, the structure-boiling point modeling of isomeric octanes is used.

Equiseparable chemical trees [PDF]
Let n1(e|T) and n2(e|T) denote the number of vertices of a tree T, lying on the two sides of the edge e. Let T1 and T2 be two trees with equal number of vertices, let e be an edge of T1 and f an edge of T2.

What Affects the Use Flexibility of Pocket Parks? Evidence from Nanjing, China
The use flexibility of pocket parks is one of the essential factors that determine their service compatibility, efficiency, and attraction for park users in densely populated cities. To examine the factors that affect the use flexibility of pocket parks,
