Glymphatic Dysfunction Reflects Post‐Concussion Symptoms: Changes Within 1 Month and After 3 Months
ABSTRACT Objective Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) may alter glymphatic function; however, its progression and variability remain obscure. This study examined glymphatic function following mTBI within 1 month and after 3 months post‐injury to determine whether variations in glymphatic function are associated with post‐traumatic symptom severity ...

Derandomizing Variance Estimators
Operations Research, 1999One may consider a discrete-event simulation as a Markov chain evolving on a suitably rich state space. One way that regenerative cycles may be constructed for general state-space Markov chains is to generate auxiliary coin-flip random variables at each transition, with a regeneration occurring if the coin-flip results in a success.

Variance estimation for stratified propensity score estimators
Statistics in Medicine, 2012Propensity score methods are increasingly used to estimate the effect of a treatment or exposure on an outcome in non‐randomised studies. We focus on one such method, stratification on the propensity score, comparing it with the method of inverse‐probability weighting by the propensity score.
