This research article shows the development of a multistable programmble metamaterial for the use as a finger prosthesis. The material was designed on different hierarchical levels where the influence of geometrical parameters and combination of mechanical elements was explored.

Rapidly Solidified High‐Strength Invar 36 Prepared by Planar‐Flow Melt Spinning
The Invar 36 alloy was rapidly solidified using the planar‐flow melt‐spinning technique. Ribbon samples with thicknesses ranging from 20 to 160 mm were produced. As the grain size of the ribbon decreased to sub‐micron levels, the hardness increased by more than 2 times.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.
