Copula‐based joint modelling of emergency department visits with time‐varying dependence

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Statistics, EarlyView.
Abstract Jointly modelling multiple correlated count time series is essential in health services research, where outcomes like emergency visits for mental health and substance use often evolve together. Ignoring these dependencies can obscure meaningful trends and limit the effectiveness of policy evaluation.

Evapotranspiration Estimation and Irrigation Performance Assessment Using Remote Sensing: A Case Study of the Ergani Dam Irrigation System (Turkey)

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Efficient water resource management is critical for sustainable agriculture, with evapotranspiration (ET) serving as a key parameter. Remote sensing (RS) techniques offer cost‐effective approaches for ET estimation and irrigation performance assessment in extensive agricultural systems.

Analysts' Cultural Long‐Term Orientation and Their Information Production Orientation culturelle à long terme des analystes et production d'information

open access: yesContemporary Accounting Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study how analysts' inherited cultural attitudes to time orientation affect their production of long‐term information and the profitability of their stock recommendations. We find that analysts from long‐term‐oriented cultures exhibit a longer forecast horizon and issue more long‐term forecasts.

L'envolée épistémique de la recherche comptable en économie financière : une étude historique sur la conception de l'utilité de la comptabilité* The Epistemic Rise of Accounting Research in Financial Economics: A Historical Study on the Conception of the Usefulness of Accounting

open access: yesContemporary Accounting Research, EarlyView.

A physiologically relevant in vitro screening model for predictive assessment of foundation colour shift

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
A novel airbrush‐based in vitro sebum secretion model enables predictive assessment of foundation colour shift. Artificial sebum was applied at a physiologically relevant amount and 3 h post‐foundation application. Our results showed strong alignment with consumer perception and revealed the dominance of drying‐phase dynamics in foundation colour shift.

Hydrothermal Dolomites in the Early Albian (Cretaceous) Platform Carbonates (NW Spain): Nature and Origin of Dolomites and Dolomitising Fluids Dolomies hydrothermales présentes dans les carbonates de la plate-forme albienne précoce (Crétacé; NO de l’Espagne) : nature et origine des dolomies et des fluides dolomitisants

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2012
This study documents the temporal and lateral variation in petrographic and geochemical signatures of fault-related dolomite bodies in the Ranero and El-Moro areas (Karrantza valley, Cantabrian mountains; NW Spain).

Clinical improvement and scalp microbiome restructuring following a 28‐day piroctone olamine shampoo intervention

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
A 28‐day clinical study in 41 individuals with oily dandruff showed that a piroctone olamine shampoo improved clinical symptoms while selectively reshaping the scalp bacterial and fungal microbiome toward a less dysbiotic profile. Abstract Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of a piroctone olamine–containing shampoo in individuals with oily ...

Séparation des ondes P et S à l'aide de la matrice spectrale avec informations à priori The Separation of P and S Waves Using the Spectral Matrix with a Priori Information

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2006
Classiquement, la technique de filtrage utilisant la matrice spectrale proposée par Mermoz ne permet une séparation automatique des ondes au sens des indicatrices sismiques que dans certains cas particuliers, à savoir lorsque les ondes à séparer sont ...
