Variational Inequality Problems with Applications

2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization (ICCMSO), 2023
In this paper, a cyclic iterative approach is used to determine the solutions of variational inequality problems in some Banach spaces. Thereafter, equilibrium problems are studied in this context.

Kannan's fixed point approximation for solving split feasibility and variational inequality problems

Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2021
The aim of this paper is to introduce a large class of mappings, called enriched Kannan mappings, that includes all Kannan mappings and some nonexpansive mappings.

Strong convergence theorems for solving pseudo-monotone variational inequality problems and applications

Optimization, 2021
In this paper, we introduce two different kinds of iterative algorithms, which are based on the inertial Tseng's method and the viscosity method. They are intended to solve the variational inequality problems governed by the mappings of pseudo-monotone ...

The Generalized Quasi-Variational Inequality Problem

Mathematics of Operations Research, 1982
In this paper, we introduce the generalized quasi-variational inequality problem and develop a theory for the existence of solution. This new problem includes as special cases two existing generalizations of the classical variational inequality problem. Relationship with a certain implicit complementarity problem is also studied.

Variational Inequality Problems

2012
The purpose of this chapter is to explain variational inequality (VI) formulations of equilibrium problems, and the close connection of a VI problem to an equivalent complementarity problem. There are sometimes advantages to a VI formulation compared to a complementarity formulation: the complementarity formulation has primal decision variables, and ...
