He's Variational Iteration Method

In this chapter, a variational iteration method (VIM) has been applied to nonlinear heat transfer equation. The concept of the variational iteration method is introduced briefly for applying this method for problem solving. The proposed iterative scheme finds the solution without any discretization, linearization, or restrictive assumptions.

In this letter, we discuss an application of the variational iteration method on obtaining series solution and exact solution of Helmholtz equation with initial conditions. The suggested algorithms are quite efficient and are practically well-suited for use in this class of equation.

Variational-iterative method for nonlinear equations

The author presents a variant of a variationally iterative method for solving equations with nonlinear unbounded operators mapping a dense subspace of a Banach space into its conjugate space. Theorems state the uniqueness of solution and give an error estimation.
