Chirality and Organization of Adsorbates Modify Surface Phonon Dynamics
Chirality and molecular organization are shown to influence surface phonon dynamics in gold films. Time‐resolved Joule heating measurements reveal that ordered homochiral monolayers increase the Debye temperature and disordered layers reduce it, while ordered racemic controls have no effect.

An original method is presented for producing artificial spider silk fibers with magnetic and magnetomechanical responsiveness, which consists in coating them with a nanometer‐thick layer of FeCo alloy by sputtering deposition. The challenge of combining organic materials and inorganic magnetic nanostructures is addressed, thus taking a step forward ...

On the adjoint of a symmetric operator [PDF]
In general it is a non-trivial task to determine the adjoint S* of an unbounded symmetric operator S in a Hilbert or Krein space. We propose a method to specify S* explicitly which makes use of two boundary mappings that satisfy an abstract Green's ...

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Existence of solutions for a non-variational system of elliptic PDE's via topological methods
Summary: In this article, we prove the existence of solutions for a non-variational system of elliptic PDE's. Also we study a system of bi-Laplacian equations with two nonlinearities and without variational assumptions. First, we prove a priori solution estimates, and then we use fixed point theory, to deduce the existence of solutions.

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for nonlinear elliptic Dirichlet systems
The existence and multiplicity of solutions for systems of nonlinear elliptic equations with Dirichlet boundary conditions is investigated. Under suitable assumptions on the potential of the nonlinearity, the existence of one, two, or three solutions ...

This paper is concerned with a system of nonlinear elliptic equations driven by ( p ( ⋅ ) , q ( ⋅ ) ) $(p(\cdot ), q(\cdot ))$ -Laplacian type operators with variable exponents, subject to homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions.
