Brain Aging in Patients With Cardiovascular Disease From the UK Biobank
This study reveals that in patients with certain cardiovascular diseases there is atypical biological brain age predicted by an artificial intelligence model from T1‐weighted brain MRIs. This suggests the existence of distinct aging‐like patterns within the brain in the precense of cardiovascular conditions.
