A note on convex sublattices of lattices [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
summary:Let $CSub\,(\text{\bf K})$ denote the variety of lattices generated by convex sublattices of lattices in $\text{\bf K}$. For any proper variety $\text{\bf V}$, the variety $CSub\,(\text{\bf V})$ is proper.

Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Sigma-function solution to the general Somos-6 recurrence via hyperelliptic Prym varieties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We construct the explicit solution of the initial value problem for sequences generated by the general Somos-6 recurrence relation, in terms of the Kleinian sigma-function of genus two. For each sequence there is an associated genus two curve \(X\), such

The bottom of the lattice of BCK-varieties

open access: yesReports Math. Log., 1995
Confirming a conjecture of Pałasiński and Wroński, we show that the bottom of the lattice of subvarieties of BCK is Y-shaped.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Varieties of residuated lattices

open access: yes, 2003
A residuated lattice is an algebraic structure that has a lattice and a monoid reduct, such that multiplication is residuated with respect to the order.

Magnetic Control of Chiral Hybridized Phonon Magnetic Moments in Ferrimagnets Fe2‐xZnxMo3O8

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Helicity‐resolved magneto‐Raman spectroscopy reveals magnetic control of chiral phonon magnetic moments in polar ferrimagnet (ZnxFe2−xMo3O₈). Large spontaneous zero‐field phonon splittings, selective phonon–magnon coupling, and asymmetric Zeeman responses demonstrate that phonon chirality is governed by magnon‐phonon coupling and magnetization.

On the lattice of $o$-approximable $\ell$-varieties [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 1984
An \(\ell\)-variety satisfying \((x\wedge y^{-1} x^{-1}y) \vee e=e\) is called o-approximable. The author shows that the lattice \(L_ o\) of all o-approximable \(\ell\)-varieties has not the covering property (namely, he constructs a variety \(V\in L_ o\) which is not the greatest element of \(L_ o\) and has no cover in \(L_ o)\).

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and
