Soft Yet Tough Tanglemers Through Rapid Photopolymerization for DLP 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Soft yet tough tanglemers are produced through low‐initiator free radical photopolymerization and translated to DLP 3D printing. Systematic control over light intensity, initiator loading, and crosslink density reveals processing windows that balance printability, elasticity, toughness, and feature fidelity. ABSTRACT Additive manufacturing of compliant

All‐Amyloid Functional Coacervates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces an all‐amyloid interfacial complex coacervate technique that employs charge‐mediated or functionalization‐assisted complexation of oppositely charged food protein‐derived amyloid nanofibrils to engineer functional soft constructs across multiple length scales.

Fístula cardiocutânea com corpo estranho em ventrículo direito: complicação tardia e rara do uso de cateter venoso central de inserção periférica

open access: yesResidência Pediátrica
INTRODUCTION: Foreign bodies in the heart are rare and a small number of cases are reported about this event. There are different mechanisms by which objects can reach a cardiac chamber axnd cause myoxcardial perforation, so an individualized diagnostic ...

Advanced Materials for Biologics Delivery to Brain Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Material innovation is central to unlocking the therapeutic potential of biologics against many central nervous system diseases, including brain cancer. By engineering carriers with controlled transport, targeting, and release properties, advanced materials can overcome the blood–brain barrier and tumor microenvironment, improving the delivery of ...

Vascular closure devices: the jury is still out

open access: yesREC: Interventional Cardiology (English Ed.)
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is an established treatment for elderly patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis. Currently, most procedures are performed through transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TF-TAVI) under

Bioengineered Interfaces for Peripheral Nerve Sensory Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Half of amputees abandon their prosthetics for lack of feeling. This review charts the full path from peripheral nerve injury to restored sensation, through surgical, regenerative, noninvasive, and implanted approaches, and shows how injury type and interface material properties determine which strategy can deliver naturalistic feedback, and why ...

Toward Pore‐Engineered 3D‐Printed Materials for Sorption Water Harvesting, Interfacial Evaporation, and Radiative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Water harvesting, radiative cooling, and interfacial solar evaporation are fundamentally governed by coupled heat, mass, and light transport processes. These processes are mediated by pore architecture, including pore size, connectivity, and hierarchical organization.

Self‐Assembling Copolymers Encapsulating Single Endothelial Cells Induce Endogenous ECM Deposition and Vascular Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents the first demonstration of stable sub‐50‐micron single‐cell GPM vesicles fabricated through the intrinsic self‐assembly of an amphiphilic copolymer. Hierarchical assembly of cell containing GPM vesicles into microspheres enable tunable, sustained cell delivery with immune protection.
