Outcome of Kidney Allografts in Recipients With a Femoral Arteriovenous Fistula: Report of Two Cases
Two patients, who were on hemodialysis over a femoral arteriovenous fistula, were transplanted in our center. Despite adequate blood pressure, perfusion of the renal allograft remained poor after completion of the vascular anastomoses.

Vascular complications after liver transplantation: A 5-year experience [PDF]
During the past 5 years, 104 angiographic studies were performed in 87 patients (45 children and 42 adults) with 92 transplanted livers for evaluation of possible vascular complications. Seventy percent of the studies were abnormal.

Congenital coronary artery fistula is an uncommon anomaly. Transcatheter coil embolization or Amplatzer vascular plug device closure of fistula is often done in symptomatic patients with safe accessibility to the feeding coronary artery.

Intracranial dural arteriovenous fistula successfully treated by combined open-endovascular procedure [PDF]
Intracranial dural arteriovenous fistulas constitute a rare though potentially devastating disease. Because the arterial (high-pressure) blood flow drains directly into the low-pressure venous system, there is a high risk of bleeding and associated ...

Vascular challenges from pancreatoduodenectomy in the setting of coeliac artery stenosis [PDF]
Coeliac artery stenosis due to median arcuate ligament compression or atherosclerotic disease is a frequently unrecognised challenge to recovery after pancreatoduodenectomy.

Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided Vascular Therapy for Portoduodenal Fistula [PDF]
Portoenteric fistula is a rare cause of massive upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Most cases can be treated with radiointervention or surgery, but portoenteric fistula is associated with a high mortality. We reported a case of intermittent massive upper gastrointestinal bleeding in a 33-year-old man with cholangiocarcinoma who underwent surgical ...

Endovascular Treatment of a Systemic-to-Pulmonary Artery Fistula: A Case Report
Systemic-to-pulmonary artery fistulas are rare. This condition may be congenital, post-traumatic, or post-inflammatory and can cause infection, hemorrhage, or pulmonary hypertension. Here, we report a case of an intercostal-to-pulmonary artery fistula,

Strategy for the Maximal Use of Native Arteriovenous Fistulae for Hemodialysis
The long-term survival and quality of life of patients on hemodialysis is dependant on the adequacy of dialysis via an appropriately placed vascular access.

Early pathohistological changes in dysfunction of arteriovenous fistula for hemodialysis [PDF]
Background. In hemodialysis patients the most common cause of vascular access failure is neointimal hyperplasia of vascular smooth muscle cells at the venous anastomosis of arteriovenous fistulas. Case report.

Novel Endovascular Techniques for Dialysis Access-Associated Steal Syndrome (DASS)
End-stage renal disease patients with arteriovenous fistula (AVF) encounter many vascular risks related to reduced or increased arteriovenous fistula flow. Dialysis access-associated steal syndrome is one of the devastating complications that may lead to
