Angiotensin on Vascular Smooth Muscle

1974
Angiotensin is a potent agonist that causes contraction of vascular smooth muscle. The resultant vasoconstriction in the intact organism has important physiological and pathophysiological implications which are reflected in a number of recent reviews (Peart, 1965; Gross et al., 1968; Somlyo and Somlyo, 1970).
