Research progress on the depth of anesthesia monitoring based on the electroencephalogram
Electroencephalogram (EEG) can noninvasive, continuous, and real‐time monitor the state of brain electrical activity, and the monitoring of EEG can reflect changes in the depth of anesthesia (DOA). The development of artificial intelligence can enable anesthesiologists to extract, analyze, and quantify DOA from complex EEG data.

Abstract Objective Antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) are recognized to have a pivotal role in recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and cardiovascular disease. Therefore, we assessed the vascular function of women with RPL and examined the association with each type of aPL.

Mitochondrial dysfunction: Related diseases, influencing factors, and detection
Mitochondrial dysfunction is implicated in the pathogenesis of numerous diseases, including neurological disorders, cancers, and cardiovascular conditions, through mechanisms such as mitochondrial DNA mutations, dysregulation of mitochondrial network dynamics, and impaired mitophagy.

Effects of 1267 nm Illumination on Microcirculation Regulatory Mechanisms
The question of activation of blood flow regulatory mechanisms during laser illumination remains open to date. This study showed the effect of laser exposure on the microcirculatory bed, which appears in the form of endothelium‐dependent vascular activity.

MRA and ASL perfusion findings in pediatric reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome
Reversible vasoconstriction is rare in the pediatric population. Typically manifesting as peripheral vasoconstriction with variable neurologic symptoms, Reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome is often a diagnosis of exclusion and may not be ...

Continuous photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) imaging generates large volumes of data, resulting in significant storage demands. Here, we propose a high‐fidelity real‐time compression algorithm for PAM data in LabVIEW by combining Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) with adaptive thresholding and Run Length Encoding (RLE), which we term as Adaptive Run Length ...

"INHIBITORY EFFECT OF ALUMINIUM ON KCL AND PHENYLEPHRINE INDUCED CONTRACTION IN ISOLATED RAT AORTA" [PDF]
It has been shown in some investigations that cardiovascular events are the main causes of death in hemodialysis patients. The exact etiology is unknown but some of the articles have reported a relation between aluminium ions in the dialysis solution and

We detect the risk factors and image characteristics of incidentally detected IAAD. Independent risk factors of IAAD included fatty liver and smoking. In the ultrasound findings of IAAD, an intimal flap was frequently observed. In the CT scan, displacement of intimal calcifications was frequently observed. For suspected IAAD, the abdominal aorta should
