Vat Photopolymerization of Cemented Carbide Specimen [PDF]
Numerous studies show that vat photopolymerization enables near-net-shape printing of ceramics and plastics with complex geometries. In this study, vat photopolymerization was investigated for cemented carbide specimens. Custom-developed photosensitive WC-12 Co (wt%) slurries were used for printing green bodies.

Combining Zirconia and Titanium Suboxides by Vat Photopolymerization [PDF]
A recently developed multi-ceramic additive manufacturing process (multi-CAMP) and an appropriate device offer a multi-material approach by vat photopolymerization (VPP) of multi-functionalized ceramic components. However, this process is limited to ceramic powders with a certain translucency for visible light.

Continuous Vat Photopolymerization for Optical Lens Fabrication
AbstractOptical lenses require feature resolution and surface roughness that are beyond most (3D) printing methods. A new continuous projection‐based vat photopolymerization process is reported that can directly shape polymer materials into optical lenses with microscale dimensional accuracy (< 14.7 µm) and nanoscale surface roughness (< 20 nm ...

Polymer-derived Ni/SiOC materials structured by vat-based photopolymerization with catalytic activity in CO2 methanation [PDF]
A new concept for the additive manufacturing of nickel-modified polymer-derived ceramics via vat-based photopolymerization is presented. A photoactive polysiloxane resin system modified by nickel nitrate via methacrylic acid complexation was developed ...

Performance Evaluation of Sandwich Structures Printed by Vat Photopolymerization
Additive manufacturing such as vat photopolymerization allows to fabricate intricate geometric structures than conventional manufacturing techniques. However, the manufacturing of lightweight sandwich structures with integrated core and facesheet is rarely fabricated using this process. In this study, photoactivatable liquid resin was used to fabricate

Rapid vat photopolymerization through a superamphiphobic interface
Vat photopolymerization (VPP) is one of the convenient methods to create high-precision parts; however, due to the significant adhesion between the cured layer of the photopolymer resin and the release film, the currently prevalent VPP equipment is less ...
