Insect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.Garden management practises need to consider stem‐nesting bees and wasps to avoid destroying active nests and important nesting materials. Volunteers collected samples of dead stems (in situ where they grew) in winter, spring, summer and fall as part of a participatory research project.
