Low power class-AB VCII with extended dynamic range [PDF]

open access: yesAEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2022
voltage swing both at the X terminal and at the Z terminal. The VCII consists of a regulated common gate configuration at the Y current input terminal and a class-AB complementary-MOS closed loop output voltage follower that ensures the voltage buffering action between the voltage input X and the voltage output Z terminals.

A New Simulated Inductor with Reduced Series Resistor Using a Single VCII± [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics (Switzerland), 2021
This paper presents a new realization of a grounded simulated inductor using a single dual output second-generation voltage conveyor (VCII±) as an active building block, two resistors and one grounded capacitor. The main characteristic of the proposed circuit is that the value of the series resistor can be significantly reduced.

A second‐generation voltage conveyor (VCII)–based simulated grounded inductor

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2020
SummaryIn this paper, an implementation of a simulated grounded inductor (SGI) based on a recently developed active building block called second‐generation voltage conveyor (VCII) is proposed. The proposed SGI employs two VCIIs, two resistors, and one grounded capacitor, which is preferred when integration is involved.

Noise analysis and optimization of VCII-based SiPM interface circuit [PDF]

open access: yesAnalog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2020
AbstractRecently, second generation voltage conveyor (VCII)-based transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) have begun to find their way in different applications, among which, silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) interfacing circuitry. There are many advantages which make VCII-based TIAs attractive over conventional circuits: the intrinsic low impedance at VCII ...
