Weighted E-Spaces and Epistemic Information Operators
Information is usually related to knowledge. Here, we present a broader picture in which information is associated with epistemic structures, which form cognitive infological systems as basic recipients and creators of cognitive information.

Numerical solution to the hermitian Yang-Mills equation on the Fermat quintic
We develop an iterative method for finding solutions to the hermitian Yang-Mills equation on stable holomorphic vector bundles, following ideas recently developed by Donaldson.

The mitochondrial outer membrane iron–sulphur ([Fe‐S]) protein mitoNEET is a target of the type‐2 diabetes drug pioglitazone. Its unknown molecular function is linked to respiratory complex activity and mitochondrial function. We discovered that O2 protects the mitoNEET [2Fe‐2S] cluster against NO oxidation and desensitization towards reduction by H2S.

A method of the Riemann–Hilbert problem is employed for Zhang’s conjecture 2 proposed in Philo. Mag. 87 (2007) 5309 for a ferromagnetic three-dimensional (3D) Ising model in a zero external magnetic field.

Linearization of nonlinear connections on vector and affine bundles, and some applications
A linear connection is associated to a nonlinear connection on a vector bundle by a linearization procedure. Our definition is intrinsic in terms of vector fields on the bundle.

On Quantum Ergodicity for Vector Bundles [PDF]
In the present paper we develop a framework in which questions of quantum ergodicity for operators acting on sections of hermitian vector bundles over Riemannian manifolds can be studied. We are particularly interested in the case of locally symmetric spaces.

Characterization of fungal carbonyl sulfide hydrolase belonging to clade D β‐carbonic anhydrase
Here, we performed a functional analysis of the fungal enzymes belonging to clade D of the β‐class carbonic anhydrase family (β‐D‐CA). The β‐D‐CAs in the basidiomycete Gloeophyllum trabeum and the ascomycete Trichoderma harzianum showed very low activity in the hydration of CO2 but exhibited high activity in the hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide (COS ...

Prolongations of affine connection and horizontal vectors
The linear frame bundle over a smooth manifold is considered. The mapping dе defined by the differentials of the first-order frame e is a lift to the normal N, i.
