Vector Bundles over Projectivoid Line [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
In this article we describe vector bundles over projectivoid line and show how it is similar to (and different) from Gorthendieck's classification of vector bundles over projective line.

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Vector Bundles on the Moduli Stack of Elliptic Curves [PDF]

open access: yesJ. Algebra 428 (2015), 425-456, 2013
We study vector bundles on the moduli stack of elliptic curves over a local ring R. If R is a field or a discrete valuation ring of (residue) characteristic not 2 or 3, all these vector bundles are sums of line bundles. For R the 3-local integers, we construct higher rank indecomposable vector bundles and give a classification of vector bundles that ...

Splitting 3-plane sub-bundles over the product of two real projective spaces

open access: yesBoletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática, 2003
Let α be a real vector bundle of fiber dimension three over the product RP(m)×RP(n) which splits as a Whitney sum of line bundles. We show that the necessary and sufficient conditions for α to embed as a sub-bundle of a certain family of vector bundles β of

Drinfel’d doubles, twists and all that. . . in stringy geometry and M theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Drinfel’d doubles of Lie bialgebroids play an important role in T-duality of string theories. In the presence of H and R fluxes, Lie bialgebroids should be extended to proto Lie bialgebroids.

Positivity of Schur forms for strongly decomposably positive vector bundles

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
In this paper, we define two types of strongly decomposable positivity, which serve as generalizations of (dual) Nakano positivity and are stronger than the decomposable positivity introduced by S. Finski.

Loss of proton‐sensing GPR4 reduces tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
G protein‐coupled receptor 4 (GPR4) is a pH‐sensing receptor activated by acidic pH. GPR4 expression is increased in patients with inflammatory bowel disease who are at high risk of developing colorectal cancer. In mouse models, loss of GPR4 attenuated tumor progression. This correlated with increased IL2 and natural killer cell activity.

Holomorphic vector bundles on holomorphically convex surface

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2000
Here we study holomorphic vector bundles on a two-dimensional holomorphically convex complex manifold Y . We present some characterizations of Y under which torsion free sheaves are filtrable.

A nucleotide‐independent, pan‐RAS‐targeted DARPin elicits anti‐tumor activity in a multimodal manner

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We report a Designed Ankyrin Repeat Protein that binds and inhibits RAS proteins, which serve as central cell signaling hubs and are essential for the progression of many cancers. Its unique feature is that it does not discriminate between different RAS isoforms or mutations and is capable of binding to RAS in both its active (GTP‐bound) and inactive ...

Higher order jet prolongations type gauge natural bundles over vector bundles

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2004
Let $rgeq 3$ and $mgeq 2$ be natural numbers and $E$ be a vector bundle with $m$-dimensional basis. We find all gauge natural bundles ``similar" to the $r$-jet prolongation bundle $J^rE$ of $E$.
