Connection theory on differentiable fibre bundles: A concise introduction

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
The paper contains a partial review on the general connection theory on differentiable fibre bundles. Particular attention is paid on (linear) connections on vector bundles.

On the prolongations of homogeneous vector bundles

open access: yesCommunications Faculty Of Science University of Ankara Series A1Mathematics and Statistics, 2016
In this paper, we introduce a study of prolongations of homogeneous vector bundles. We give an alternative approach for the prolongation. For a given homogeneous vector bundle E, we obtain a new homogeneous vector bundle. The homogeneous structure and its corresponding representation are derived.

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

The extended vector bundles

open access: yes, 1998
In this study, the structure of extended vector bundles has been obtained, especially the canonical extended vector bundle ?k of order k of any vector bundle ?=(E,?,M).

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Equivariant semialgebraic vector bundles

open access: yes, 2002
Let G be a compact semialgebraic group. We prove that any semialgebraic G-vector bundle over a semialgebraic G-set has a semialgebraic classifying G-map.

Vector bundles and regulous maps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Let X be a compact nonsingular affine real algebraic variety. We prove that every pre-algebraic vector bundle on X becomes algebraic after finitely many blowing ups.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Higher order jet prolongations type gauge natural bundles over vector bundles

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2004
Let $rgeq 3$ and $mgeq 2$ be natural numbers and $E$ be a vector bundle with $m$-dimensional basis. We find all gauge natural bundles ``similar" to the $r$-jet prolongation bundle $J^rE$ of $E$.
