On the geometry of rank two vector bundles and two-theta divisors on a curve [PDF]
This thesis aims at presenting results and remarks concerning the study of subvarieties of the projective space |2Ɵ| associated to a smooth projective curve C of genus at least 3 and its connections to the moduli space SU(_c)(2) of rank 2 semi-stable ...

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Two-dimensional categorified Hall algebras
In the present paper, we introduce two-dimensional categorified Hall algebras of smooth curves and smooth surfaces. A categorified Hall algebra is an associative monoidal structure on the stable $\infty$-category $\mathsf{Coh}^{\mathsf{b}}(\mathbb{R ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Symmetric products and moduli spaces of vector bundles of curves
Let $X$ be a smooth projective curve of genus $g \geq 2$ and $M$ be the moduli space of rank 2 stable vector bundles on $X$ whose determinants are isomorphic to a fixed odd degree line bundle $L$. There has been a lot of works studying the moduli and recently the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves on $M$ draws lots of attentions.

Grain boundary triple junctions are an essential ingredient of the microstructure of polycrystalline materials. In this study, a triple junction is observed using atomic‐resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and characterized. Computer simulations reveal that the junction has a dislocation character that is determined by the joining ...

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Algebraic curves: towards moduli spaces
This book offers a concise yet thorough introduction to the notion of moduli spaces of complex algebraic curves. Over the last few decades, this notion has become central not only in algebraic geometry, but in mathematical physics, including string ...

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

On the rationality of moduli spaces of vector bundles over chain-like curves
Let $C$ be a chain-like curve over $\mathbb{C}$. In this paper, we investigate the rationality of moduli spaces of $w$-semistable vector bundles on $C$ of arbitrary rank and fixed determinant by putting some restrictions on the Euler characteristics.
