Restriction varieties and geometric branching rules
This paper develops a new method for studying the cohomology of orthogonal flag varieties. Restriction varieties are subvarieties of orthogonal flag varieties defined by rank conditions with respect to (not necessarily isotropic) flags.

Interlayer sliding in the RuO2Zn2F2 bilayer induces ferroelectricity and enables reversible valley polarization switching. The electric dipole and valley‐resolved band edges are intimately coupled, revealing sliding ferroelectricity as a powerful mechanism for electrical control of valley degrees of freedom in 2D materials.

Nano Carbon‐mesh with Excellent Bonding Performance via Hydro‐cage De‐shielding Strategy
A hydro‐cage de‐shielding strategy transforms cellulose‐based films into a dragonfly‐wing‐like nano carbon‐mesh (NCM) adhesive through instantaneous carbonization‐polymerization. The resulting NCM‐plywood achieves exceptional wet shear strength (1.24 MPa at 63°C), exceeding Class II plywood standards, and retains 0.73 MPa after boiling‐water cycles ...

Vector bundles on curves and generalized theta functions: recent results and open problems
. The moduli spaces of vector bundles on a compact Riemann surface carry a natural line bundle, the determinant bundle. The sections of this line bundle and its multiples constitute a non-abelian generalization of the classical theta functions. New ideas

Two studies of topological quantum field theory in two dimensions [PDF]
Take powers of the determinant line bundles on the relative moduli spaces (or stacks) of principal G-bundles over relative curves C over a base space B, and then push them down to the base space B --- the resulting sheaves over B, which are in fact ...

Connexions paraboliques et champ des racines
The framework of the subject is algebraic geometry, more precisely we are interested in the behaviour at infinity of vector bundles on algebraic varieties endowed with a simple normal crossings divisor. These can be equipped with a logarithmic connection,

Herein, we demonstrate a breakthrough in dielectric energy storage by engineering local polarization units in high‐entropy multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). The optimized MLCCs achieve an ultrahigh recoverable energy density of 18.2 J cm−3 with 91% efficiency, coupled with exceptional thermal stability and fatigue resistance.

Betti numbers of the moduli space of rank 3 parabolic Higgs bundles
[Present] Version nr. 3 (2005/06/01) is an extended version of Nr. 1 (2004/11/10), to which a section with the fixed determinant case was added. To appear in Memoirs of the AMS.Parabolic Higgs bundles on a Riemann surface are of interest for many reasons,

Parabolic connections and root stacks
Le cadre du sujet est la géométrie algébrique, plus précisément on s'intéresse au comportement à l'infini des fibrés vectoriels sur les variétés algébriques munies d'un diviseur à croisements normaux simples.

A tri‐phase Ni2CoFeV medium‐entropy alloy with fcc, κ, and L12 phases achieves exceptional cryogenic strength‐ductility synergy at 77 K. It delivers a yield strength of 1.4 GPa, an ultimate tensile strength of 2.07 GPa and a tensile ductility of 28%.
