Onasemnogene Abeparvovec in Type I Spinal Muscular Atrophy: 24‐Month Follow‐Up From the Italian Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA) is an AAV9‐based gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy type I (SMA I). Real‐world outcomes show increased response variability compared to clinical trials, and follow‐up data beyond 12–18 months are limited.

COVID‐19 Vaccination Is Not Associated With the Development of Idiopathic Inflammatory Myositis in US Veterans

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Several case reports have proposed a potential association between COVID‐19 vaccination and the subsequent development of idiopathic inflammatory myositis (IIM). This study examined prior COVID‐19 vaccination in US veterans who developed new‐onset IIM compared to those without new‐onset IIM.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Approximation of generalized frequency response functions via vector fitting

open access: yes
This paper describes a method for data-driven approximation of nonlinear systems, using the notion of generalized frequency response functions as provided by the Volterra series theory. Using rational approximation, frequency-domain input-output data are fitted to a bilinear model structure.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

Vector Lattice Data Analysis: Fitting and Model Uncertainty

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Applied & Computational Mathematics
Functional data analysis (FDA) is a popular research area of data analysis that is well-suited for modeling complex data structures such as time series data and images. In Linear Regression models, the random variables are often described using a finite--dimensional vector space, under the assumption that the random variables are represented by a ...
