In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

From D s → γ in lattice QCD to B s → μμγ at high q 2
We use a recent lattice determination of the vector and axial D s → γ form factors at high squared momentum transfer q 2 to infer their B s → γ counterparts. To this end, we introduce a phenomenological approach summarized as follows.

Local density of states in disordered graphene
We study two lattice models, the honeycomb lattice (HCL) and a special square lattice (SQL), both reducing to the Dirac equation in the continuum limit. In the presence of disorder (gaussian potential disorder and random vector potential), we investigate

On vector lattice-valued measures II [PDF]
AbstractFor a weakly (, )-distributive vector lattice V, it is proved that a V {}-valued Baire measure 0 on a locally compact Hausdorff space T admits uniquely regular Borel and weakly Borel extensions on T if and only if 0 is strongly regular at . Consequently, for such a vector lattice V every V-valued Baire measure on a locally compact Hausdorff ...

Control of Polarization and Polar Helicity in BiFeO3 by Epitaxial Strain and Interfacial Chemistry
In BiFeO3 thin films, the interplay of interfacial chemistry, electrostatics, and epitaxial strain is engineered to stabilize homohelicity in polarization textures at the domain scale. The synergistic use of a Bi2O2‐terminated Aurivillius buffer layer and a highly anisotropic compressive epitaxial strain offers new routes to control the polar‐texture ...

Quasi‐Static to Supersonic Energy Absorption of Nanoarchitected Tubulanes and Schwarzites
Nanoarchitected energy‐absorptive Tubulanes exhibit record energy absorption under quasi‐static conditions and exceptional inelastic energy dissipation under 750 m s−1 ballistics impact, with high performance spanning strain rates of 12 orders of magnitude.

Free vector lattices over vector spaces as function lattices
We show that a free vector lattice over a real vector space $V$ can be realised canonically as a vector lattice of real-valued positively homogeneous functions on any linear subspace of its dual space that separates the points of $V$. This is used to give intuition for the known fact that the free Banach lattice over a Banach space $E$ can be realised ...

A Cu‐based crystal‐glass composite with high‐density twins is identified by a fast screening technique using combinatorial sputtering together with XRD and nanoindentation mapping. This bamboo‐like structure demonstrates homogenous plastic flow and retains high strength during in situ high temperature tests, up to 1 GPa at 550°C, owing to those ...

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.
