Rock Mass Quality Evaluation Based on Unascertained Measure and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
Evaluation of rock mass quality is of great significance to the design and construction of geotechnical engineering. In order to evaluate the quality of engineering rock mass scientifically and deal with the fuzzy information in the rock mass quality ...

A dynamic lesion model for differentiation of malignant and benign pathologies
Malignant lesions have a high tendency to invade their surrounding environment compared to benign ones. This paper proposes a dynamic lesion model and explores the 2nd order derivatives at each image voxel, which reflect the rate of change of image ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Weak measure expansivity of C2 dynamics
Let ff be a C2{C}^{2}-diffeomorphism with Axiom A and no cycle condition on a two-dimensional smooth manifold. In this article, we prove that if ff is C2{C}^{2}-robustly weak measure expansive, then it is Q2{Q}^{2}-Anosov. Moreover, we expand the results
