An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Learnable hyperspectral measures

open access: yesEgyptian Informatics Journal, 2012
Hyperspectral measures are used to capture the degree of similarity between two spectra. Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) is an example of such measures. SAM similarity values range from 0 to 1. These values do not indicate whether the two spectra are similar

Facts about the Fourier-Stieltjes Transform of Vector Measures on Compact Groups

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2013
This paper gives an interpretation of the Fourier-Stieltjes transform of vector measures by means of the tensor product of Hilbert spaces. It also extends the Kronecker product to some operators arising from the Fourier-Stieltjes transformation and ...

FRACTAL VECTOR MEASURES IN THE CASE OF AN UNCOUNTABLE ITERATED FUNCTION SYSTEM [PDF]

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science, 2015
In this paper we obtain an extension of the concept of Hutchinson measure (which is the unique fi xed point of a contraction on the set of normalized Borel measures on a compact metric space) related to an iterated function system.

A review of the vector management methods to prevent and control outbreaks of West Nile virus infection and the challenge for Europe

open access: yesParasites & Vectors, 2014
West Nile virus infection is a growing concern in Europe. Vector management is often the primary option to prevent and control outbreaks of the disease.

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...
