Analysis of the b 1 meson decay in local tensor bilinear representation [PDF]
We explore the validity of vector meson dominance in the radiative decay of the b 1(1235) meson. In order to explain the violation of the vector meson dominance hypothesis in this decay process, we investigate a model where the b 1 meson strongly couples

Zero temperature properties of mesons in a vector meson extended linear sigma model [PDF]
A three flavor linear sigma model with vector and axial-vector mesons is discussed. Preliminary results concerning on the symmetry breaking pattern, the question of parameterization, as well as the resulting meson masses are presented.

A method to include exclusive heavy vector-meson production data at small x in global parton analyses [PDF]
We propose a method which allows the inclusion of exclusive heavy vector-meson production data at low x in future global parton analyses. As an example we perform a study within xFitter to determine the gluon parton distribution function (PDF) at next-to-

Vector-meson production and vector meson dominance
We consider the fidelity of the vector meson dominance (VMD) assumption as an instrument for relating the electromagnetic vector-meson production reaction $$e + p \rightarrow e^\prime + V + p$$ e + p → e ′ + V + p to the purely hadronic process $$V + p ...

Using coherent dipion photoproduction to image gold nuclei
Vector meson photoproduction offers the opportunity to image target nuclei. The two-dimensional Fourier transform $d\sigma_{\rm coherent}/dt$ of coherent vector meson photoproduction gives the two-dimensional distribution of interaction sites in the ...

There is only one set of the correct values of fF, fD and fS coupling constants in SU(3) invariant Lagrangian of the vector-meson-baryon interactions [PDF]
One can prove, there is generally eight various ω − ø mixings forms in elementary particle physics, which on one side give different forms of the vector-meson-nucleon coupling constants through fF, fD and fS in SU(3) invariant Lagrangian of the vector ...

Topographic thresholds for gully head formation in badlands
Gully topographic threshold model was extended to badlands, on the basis of data collected in the Mediterranean environment in Italy and Spain, characterized by diversified climatic, lithological, geological and anthropogenic settings. Criteria for the attribution of curve number values has been more objectively defined in order to reduce arbitrariness

Stark effect and dissociation of mesons in holographic conductor
We study the meson spectrum of the N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 fundamental hypermultiplets for a finite electric field by using the D3/D7 model.

Constituent quark axial current couplings to light vector mesons in the vacuum and with a weak magnetic field [PDF]
Unusual constituent quark axial current couplings to light vector mesons, $\rho$ and $\omega$, are derived in the vacuum and under weak magnetic field by considering a quark-antiquark interaction mediated by a non perturbative gluon exchange. Similarly, light axial mesons are found to couple anomalously with the constituent quark vector current.

QCD phase diagram with a background magnetic field in an improved soft-wall AdS/QCD model
We studied the magnetic effects on the chiral transition and the melting properties of vector and axial-vector mesons in the improved soft-wall AdS/QCD model under a charged magnetic background, which is solved perturbatively from an Einstein–Maxwell ...
