Pion transition form factor in the Regge approach and incomplete vector-meson dominance [PDF]
The concept of incomplete vector-meson dominance and Regge models is applied to the transition form factor of the pion. First, we argue that variants of the chiral quark model fulfilling the chiral anomaly may violate the Terazawa-West unitarity bounds ...

Understory plant communities in pitch pine (Pinus rigida) barrens show distinct species abundance and structural attributes associated with different restoration strategies. We investigated the impacts of four management approaches, along with untreated control sites across four states in the Northeast United States.

Zero temperature properties of mesons in a vector meson extended linear sigma model
A three flavor linear sigma model with vector and axial-vector mesons is discussed. Preliminary results concerning on the symmetry breaking pattern, the question of parameterization, as well as the resulting meson masses are presented.

Vector meson dominance and polarization
Abstract The vector dominance model relates amplitudes for reactions induced by photons (e.g., ifπ-production from nucleons) to amplitudes for reactions induced by vector mesons. In the applications of such relations one conventionally assumes that the vector mesons have to be polarized transversely with respect to the c.m. system.

Glueball enhancements in p(gamma,VV)p through vector meson dominance
Double vector meson photoproduction, p(gamma, G -> VV)p, mediated by a scalar glueball G is investigated. Using vector meson dominance (VMD) and Regge/pomeron phenomenology, a measureable glueball enhancement is predicted in the invariant VV = rho rho ...

Coupling vector and pseudoscalar mesons to study baryon resonances
A study of meson-baryon systems with total strangeness -1 is made within a framework based on the chiral and hidden local symmetries. These systems consist of octet baryons, pseudoscalar and vector mesons.

Light Vector Meson Spectroscopy [PDF]
The current situation for vector meson spectroscopy is outlined, and it is shown that the data are inconsistent with the generally-accepted model for meson decay. A possible resolution in terms of exotic (hybrid) mesons is given. Although this hypothesis

Vacuum Properties of Mesons in a Linear Sigma Model with Vector Mesons and Global Chiral Invariance
We present a two-flavour linear sigma model with global chiral symmetry and vector and axial-vector mesons. We calculate pion-pion scattering lengths and the decay widths of scalar, vector, and axial-vector mesons.
