Vector meson-vector meson interaction and dynamically generated resonances

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010
Using the local hidden gauge formalism for the vector meson‐vector meson interaction within a unitary approach we find that 11 states get dynamically generated. Five of them are associated to the f0(1370), f0(1710), f2(1270), f2′(1525), and K2*(1430) resonances, by comparing the mass, width, and decay pattern of these states with those of their ...

Baryonium annihilation into meson+vector meson

Nuclear Physics, 1963
Abstract Assuming that the decay of baryonium into meson+vector meson proceeds through an intermediate virtual vector meson, some selection rules and branching ratios of this decay are derived from the octet version of unitary symmetry.

Vector meson dominance and photoproduction

Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei, 1969
A brief review of the basic principles of the vector meson dominance model is given. The model is then compared with most recently obtained experimental results. It is stressed that it provides a simple and unified interpretation of photoproduction of hadrons at high energies.
