Vector meson-vector meson interaction and dynamically generated resonances
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010Using the local hidden gauge formalism for the vector meson‐vector meson interaction within a unitary approach we find that 11 states get dynamically generated. Five of them are associated to the f0(1370), f0(1710), f2(1270), f2′(1525), and K2*(1430) resonances, by comparing the mass, width, and decay pattern of these states with those of their ...

Vector meson dominance and photoproduction
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei, 1969A brief review of the basic principles of the vector meson dominance model is given. The model is then compared with most recently obtained experimental results. It is stressed that it provides a simple and unified interpretation of photoproduction of hadrons at high energies.

Vector Mesons and the Pomeranchuk Trajectory
Physical Review Letters, 1963Within the framework of dispersion theory, it was shown that an elementary pole describing a vector particle necessarily induces a Regge trajectory with alpha (0) = 1 and positive signature, provided the pole appears in the crossed channel of an elastic scattering amplitude.

Pion and vector meson form factors in the Kuperstein-Sonnenschein holographic model
, 2010We study phenomenological aspects of the holographic model of chiral symmetry breaking recently introduced by Kuperstein and Sonnenschein (KS). As a first step, we calculate the spectrum of vector and axial-vector mesons in the KS model.

Renormalizable Electrodynamics of Vector Mesons
Physical Review, 1963It is shown that the conventional theory of charged spinone mesons interacting with photons can be renormalized provided meson mass m and charge e are restricted by the relation Z(m/sup 2/,e2) = 0, where Z is the meson wave- function renormalization constant. (auth)
