Is there a close association between "soils" and "vegetation"? : A case study from central western New South Wales [PDF]
The assumption that ‘soils’ and ‘vegetation’ are closely associated was tested by describing soils and vegetation along a Travelling Stock Reserve west of Grenfell, New South Wales (lat 33° 55’S, long 147° 45’E). The transect was selected on the basis of

Retrieval of Leaf Area Index (LAI) and Soil Water Content (WC) Using Hyperspectral Remote Sensing under Controlled Glass House Conditions for Spring Barley and Sugar Beet [PDF]
Leaf area index (LAI) and water content (WC) in the root zone are two major hydro-meteorological parameters that exhibit a dominant control on water, energy and carbon fluxes, and are therefore important for any regional eco-hydrological or ...

Discovery of H2 Receptor Antagonists as Colistin Enhancers by Targeting Acid Stress Response
This study identifies YqgB as a key target for restoring colistin susceptibility in mcr‐positive pathogens under acidic conditions by remodeling phospholipid composition and reducing LPS modification. Deep learning‐based screening reveals H2 receptor antagonists as novel colistin adjuvants. Further investigations indicate that ranitidine and famotidine

Comparative Assessment of Broadband Vegetation Indices Over Aquatic Vegetation
Remote sensing is one of the most useful tools for mapping and studying vegetation because of the advantages of synoptic view (in time and space) compared to traditional in situ survey. Remotely sensed vegetation indices (VIs) derived from airborne and satellite images represent a powerful and effective way to monitor vegetation status, growth, and bio-

Effects of Pansharpening on Vegetation Indices
This study evaluated the effects of image pansharpening on Vegetation Indices (VIs), and found that pansharpening was able to downscale single-date and multi-temporal Landsat 8 VI data without introducing significant distortions in VI values.
