A model for vehicle-to-infrastructure communications in urban environments
2015 IEEE International Conference on Communication Workshop (ICCW), 2015Dependable vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication links for intelligent transportation systems are aimed at improving traffic safety and efficiency. The future integration of such cooperative systems, in particular in urban environments with challenging propagation conditions, requires adequate deployment of roadside units (RSU).

IRVIN - intelligent road and vehicle test INfrastructure
Proceedings. 2005 IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems, 2005., 2005Simulation, or rather virtual testing, is a good instrument for study and design of traffic management concepts, traffic safety, vehicle safety and ergonomics. Simulation facilitates the evaluation of the design at an early stage and reduces the costs of making prototypes.

Realistic performance model for vehicle-to-infrastructure communications
2014 International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC), 2014This paper introduces extensions of a previously proposed range-dependent modified Gilbert model for generation of realistic error patterns. With the proposed extensions our model can be used to generate signal-to-noise ratio trends corresponding to the error patterns for infrastructure-to-vehicle communications.
