Time-Windowed Vehicle Routing Problem: Tabu Search Algorithm Approach
Vehicle routing problem (VRP); it is defined as the problem of planning the best distribution or collection routes of the vehicles assigned to serve the scattered centers from one or more warehouses in order to meet the demands of the customers.

Vehicle routing with subtours [PDF]
When delivering items to a set of destinations, one can save time and cost by passing a subset to a sub-contractor at any point en route. We consider a model where a set of items are initially loaded in one vehicle and should be distributed before a given deadline Δ.

Vehicle Routeing with Multiple Use of Vehicles [PDF]
Summary: The vehicle routeing problem with multiple use of vehicles is a variant of the standard vehicle routeing problem in which the same vehicle may be assigned to several routes during a given planning period. A tabu search heuristic is developed for this problem. It is shown to produce high quality solutions on a series of test problems.

Collaborative vehicle routing: A survey [PDF]
In horizontal collaborations, carriers form coalitions in order to perform parts of their logistics operations jointly. By exchanging transportation requests among each other, they can operate more efficiently and in a more sustainable way. Collaborative vehicle routing has been extensively discussed in the literature.

Algorithms for Capacitated Vehicle Routing [PDF]
Summary: Given \(n\) identical objects (pegs), placed at arbitrary initial locations, we consider the problem of transporting them efficiently to \(n\) target locations (slots) with a vehicle that can carry at most \(k\) pegs at a time. This problem is referred to as \(k\)-delivery TSP, and it is a generalization of the traveling salesman problem.
