ABSTRACT This article identifies assistive technologies (ATs) as ‘pre‐technologies’ mediating access to other technologies for disabled subjects (DSs). The motivation is to show that without ATs, DSs cannot be said to have the same level of access to freedom and self‐forming activities as able‐bodied subjects.

High-density platooning in cellular vehicle-to-everything systems: on the importance of communication-aware networked control design [PDF]
Fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks enable many vehicular communication applications by providing wireless interfaces for the exchange of messages among vehicles [vehicle to vehicle (V2V)] and among vehicles and pedestrians, infrastructure components,

Stabilising Routines in Complex Emergencies: How Basic Service Continuity Shapes Perceived Security
ABSTRACT This study examines how locally embedded actors describe the relationship between basic service continuity and perceived security in complex emergencies, with particular attention to the stabilisation of everyday routines. Using Proximity‐Predictability‐Attributability (PPA) as an analytic lens, we trace how interviewees relate access to water,
